Jackie Cutlip-Niles Photography - site redesign
This site was completely redesigned to give it a more updated look and
incorporate slideshows in place of the fixed galleries. A PHP-based contact form was
added for customers' convenience and the "Current Projects" page uses an
embedded
Photobucket slideshow which updates automatically when photos are added to the
online slideshow, allowing the client to add or remove photos anytime. (The site had to be moved to another hosting provider to
enable the use of PHP and to give us more server space for the
slideshows.) This site is optimized for self-maintenance of all the text
areas of the pages.
The original site is below. |

Jackie Cutlip-Niles Photography - original site creation
This site was built from scratch using the information from an existing (free)
website and photos emailed to us by the client. It was uploaded to the client's
personal webspace (provided by her ISP), and the domain name (which she
already owned) was then
redirected ("pointed") to that webspace. The homepage was comprised of
three different layouts for different screen widths. A small script
determined which version to display depending on the width of the browser window
it was being loaded into. |

Jet Technologies Superchargers
This site is an informational site only; the client wanted the customers to
call or email for specific application information and to place their orders. It uses some PHP, including the contact form
processing, and a fixed background image with a scrolling semi-transparent page.
The page design is a highly-modified template. |

SVXfiles Subaru Performance and Repair
This is a large site with an integrated (hard coded)
shopping cart which uses PayPal for payment. This type
of shopping cart is suitable when there are only a few items
for sale (3-4 pages/categories; less than 50 items/options) and changes are rarely needed. Order
notifications are sent from the shopping cart app to the site owner automatically, as
well. |

The Ark of Hope Rescue
This is just a simple multiple-page site with a contact form and online pet
adoption applications which use PHP. Two additional MS Word format application
forms (one printable for faxing, etc., one fill-in for sending as an attachment)
can also be downloaded to make the adoption process easier for prospective adopters.
A PayPal "Make a Donation" button is included, as well. The site
design is a slightly modified template. |

J. L. Camp Inspection Services - site redesign (under construction)
This site needed a serious update -- the original
was created back in the mid-1990's when frames were the
latest thing and CSS had not even been thought of.
Nowadays, frame-based pages are known to be the least
search-engine friendly, due to the fact that most web
crawlers today ignore the keywords tag in the page header.
This page design is also a highly-modified template. |

Route 40 Auto Sales (incomplete site)
This site was created in approximately 2004, again using frames and before CSS. It featured a (hard-coded) inventory page with links to individual pages
for each car. Those pages featured rollover thumbnails which used
javascript to swap out the main photo. Today those same effects can be achieved
using CSS only.
(This site was never completed nor posted due to owner difficulties. It is
included here for demonstration purposes only. Some information has been
"blacked out" for privacy reasons.)
